Studied vocal music at NENU and at the Central Conservatory of Music in China; Advanced scholarly exchange at the Perugia Conservatory of Music sponsored through Italian government scholarship
Second Prize winner at the 7th L’Opera Rinata International Vocal Music Contest (Italy) in 2008, which received significant media coverage both in Europe and in China.
Held numerous solo concerts in China.
Panel member for the 2012 CCTV National Young Singers’ Contest Jilin Regional Contest; Advisor and teacher with students winning numerous awards in national and international music contests and recipient of educational honors from the Ministry of Education of China.
Performed in various music and cultural events in the Bay Area; Founded the popular Happy Valley Music vocal academy, dedicated in the education of voice and chorus for children. In 2016, Happy Valley Music is renamed “Sophie’s Vocal Academy”, which is recruiting more students right now.
